Rethinking the city through material. In this project I work with the local context, exploring the urban environment.
This installation made from pieces of concrete found in three parts of the city: an ordinary public school yard, the abandoned factory Electrowerk, and Lisi Lake’s recreation area. Each piece has been connected with wire to construct three fragile columns representing memories that reflect different aspects of everyday life. Reflect each place’s past history, present moment and process of change.
