Entrance Threshold
Clash of spaces. Two lidar scans of two houses entrances in two countries (Russia, Moscow and Georgia, Tbilisi) that feel like home.
They intertwined and appear through each other.
The entrance is a liminal space and a portal from one reality to another. Lidar reads reality, but make it unintentionally distorts, there are failures, glitches — it does’t visuallize the railings right, suddenly appears holes in the windows.
It turns out that a familiar place acquires strange features and loses clarity. Life is constantly mixed and passes through these entrances, it also feels like a kind of glitch and failure, to which you constantly adapt and rebuild. These entrances tell my personal story through transitions and transformations.
